Balance in the bay-Sustainable fishing game

The students are divided in small groups and represent a fishing fleet. All fleets go out during the season and catch squid (or another species that is often caught in your area). Each round (fishing season) has certain restrictions. In between rounds, students calculate how much squid they caught, what the profit is and decide on re-investments. They have to make graphs of the data and predict what will happen with the squid population.
