Beach erosion-Experiment

With sand, pebbles and rocks small groups of students build a beach. They add a small layer of water which represents the sea. Some of the beaches have man-made structures like walls for protection of the beach. The students will simulate a storm and discover which beach is best protected against erosion. Afterwards they design their own protection and test it by building it.
