Activities:

How does marine litter end up in the ocean? Students discuss this problem looking at different sources. They start with a fictional coastal town, continue with a map of their own area and look at the problem on a global scale using the 'Rubber duck story'. They finally discuss how the problem could have been prevented in the first place.

Materials:

Computer, projector, downloaded map of the area. Alternatively, you can draw the map of the area and the fictional town on the blackboard.
